Very residential area with swathes of tree-lined Victorian streets sat atop a hill, Forest Hill has extraordinary views of London. Access to the city is very easy, making it increasingly popular with professionals too. There is a hugely creative crowd in the area, with many residents working in creative industries.

Due to the housing stock, the area has traditionally been home to young families, but there are a lot of beautifully converted buildings making some spacious and desirable flats. The Victorian architecture is predominant in Forest Hill but you will also find a few Georgian houses as well as properties from the 1920s, 1930s and 1960s townhouses.

The Horniman museum is extremely popular and houses an aquarium, an array of taxidermy, musical instruments and has some stunning gardens. There are also a host of cosy pubs and local indie cafes including Canvas & Cream which run an art gallery and have seven artists’ studios to rent. East Dulwich’s Lordship Lane is very close by and also Honor Oak has a lovely selection of shops and cafes too.

Near Forest Hill station in the centre, there is a large branch of Sainsbury’s and across the road is a butcher, The Butchery which specialises in native-breed, quality English meat from small farms. Additionally, you can find a greengrocer and zero waste store, Beetroot & Beans. They have a fantastic selection of products from fresh produce to beauty products.

Also near Forest Hill station is Forest Hill Pools, renovated to become a leisure centre it has a wealth of health and fitness activities suitable for all ages. There are two swimming pools, a cafe, gym and studios for the number of classes it hosts – spin to yoga.

All previous interactions with Estate Agents have left a bad taste in our mouth, but I can honestly say that Graham Colliss is without question the best person we have ever dealt with when going through with the process of selling your house! He is knowledgeable, articulate, supportive and honest. The beauty with Graham is that he does not tell you what you want to hear, but what you need to hear in order to get your property sold. I whole heartedly recommend you use Graham!
Antony & Bernadette – Forest Hill
A huge thank you to Graham and Josh in particular for their excellent support in the quick sale of our property. They were super friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and kept us updated at every step. Expose were familiar regarding the market within the area and gave us full confidence in their ability to showcase our home. They were just as invested as we were and we would highly recommend their service, its been effortless. Thank you Expose!

My whole experience with Graham has been easy and enjoyable from start to finish. Graham was refreshingly down to earth, honest and extremely helpful and in no way pushy or manipulative (which has been my experience of estate agents in the past). He knew the market and managed our expectations, his advice was really valuable and he helped me navigate a very sensitive tenant situation in my property which made the whole thing so much easier.
Melody & Brian – Crystal Palace
We’ve had an excellent experience with our agent Graham Colliss, he showed real commitment to helping us sell our property throughout the process. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, professional and a good calm negotiator even when the pressures on during the stressful moments in selling your home. I couldn’t recommend Graham and his team more!
Miles & Abby – Brockley
Graham Colliss said he would work hard for us and get the best price… and he did, without a shadow of doubt. He fielded calls after hours, was consistent with honest and good advice and ultimately negotiated our sale beyond expectations. Thanks for a great service and I would recommend anyone to follow this route instead of the traditional high street agents.

We had a great experience with Graham Colliss while selling our property in South East London. We found Graham to be hugely knowledgeable about the local market both through his work as an agent and the fact he previously lived in the area. Graham gave honest advice even when it wasn’t exactly what we wanted to hear which is really refreshing. We also appreciated him taking time to even offer advice when negotiating our onward purchase.
